Thank You

All of us at Havey Productions are so grateful to the 250 +  hearty souls who, as Denver Post film critic Lisa Kennedy advised, “tapped their inner pioneer and braved a snowy evening” to attend the premiere screening of our new film, Centennial Statehouse: Colorado’s Greatest Treasure.

With 8 to 30 inches of snow accumulated by Friday morning schools and almost all events were cancelled.  No one was expected to attend when we announced the Premiere was on.  But we’re glad so many came.  We greatly appreciate everyone who supported this event in thought, word or ticket purchase.  Many thanks to our wonderful emcee Gary Shapiro, our host Colorado Preservation, Inc., introductory speakers Annie Levinsky from Historic Denver, Inc., former US Senator Hank Brown and, for his video introduction of the film, Governor John Hickenlooper.  We were thrilled with the enthusiastic reception the film received and so many complimentary comments.

Please stay tuned for details on another screening event where tickets will be honored for those unable to make the premiere.  We’ll also keep you posted when DVDs for purchase are available in a few weeks.
